With the November system update for the Xbox One already revealed, it appears that Microsoft is still planning to add new improvements to its next-gen console in the coming months into 2015. In fact, it will only be taking a short break over the holiday season, and will get back right on gear with rolling out new system updates.

This comes straight from Xbox head Phil Spencer, as reported by Videogamer. But this also means that December won't bring in some very big updates-which is fine, considering that the Xbox One players will probably be too busy with all of the titles coming out for the console.

"As we roll into 2015, we definitely have a road map for monthly updates. When they'll start up again, we'll watch. We're kinda working through the schedules on those things now but it's a commitment that we have as a platform team that we'll continue monthly updates," said Spencer in a podcast as quoted by Videogamer.

So far, there are already quite meaty updates for the past few months, so it's understandable that Microsoft would want to take a break from it. But more than that, it's good to hear Microsoft planning more updates for fans, especially putting 2015 on the map for Xbox One system updates.

Better Processor Lined Up for Xbox One

The improvements for the Xbox One continue, and it may not be long before an affordable but better processor may be coming fans' way. Eurogamer reports that an AMD chip design manager has recently put in his CV that he is currently working on "cost-reduced" processor for the Xbox One.

This can mean that the Xbox One consoles may be in for another price drop next year once the processor is installed. This may be the Xbox One's way of staying in the competition with the PS4, which has outsold the Xbox One in almost every month for the entire 2014 and since the consoles were released last November.

Games with Gold for November

Microsoft goes indie once more for its Games with Gold this November, as "Volgarr the Viking" goes into Xbox One territory for the whole of November. It's a hack and slash platformer which is easy to learn but hard to play.

Xbox 360 gamers will get two titles for November. The first one, which is available from Nov. 1 to 15m is "Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. It's the sequel that takes multiplayer up a notch. It also offers sandbox mode for those who prefer building.

For the latter half of November, Xbox 360 will get "Red Faction: Guerilla" for free. It's a game that puts you on Earth's defense force and this time, you'll be fighting against those who used to be on Earth's side. The sequel boasts an open-world system where you can choose your own missions, play on strategy and enjoy a classic third-person shooter.
