Producers of Fox reality show, "The X-Factor USA" may be keeping their fingers crossed that there will be no repeat of premiere week fluke in terms of ratings and the show’s talents will be the focus of everyone’s attention on week 2. But who shines at the auditions on second week of "X-Factor USA" Season 3?

From Charleston, South Carolina to Los Angeles, "X-Factor" hopefuls sang their hearts out in hopes to impress the judges for tickets to advance in the competition.

Auditions, Night 4: Charleston, South Carolina
Judges of the "X-Factor USA" hit the road and onto Charleston, South Carolina on night four of the auditions of the Fox’s reality show and the episode found talents (and mishap) from some of the hopefuls, including Andrew Scholz, Blake Shankle, Ellona Santiago, Arin Ray, Stone Martin and Ashly Williams.

Andrew Scholz seemed to have left the mark to the judges the most for the evening. The high school student is into sports and has been inclined to physical activities - - pole vaulting, football and gymnastics. But the teen never stops dreaming and declared singing as one of his greatest dreams.

With good looks that go along with his talents, Andrew impressed the judges with his reasonably sounding voice with his rendition of “Little More You.”

Kelly Rowland had stars in her eyes listening to him sing. True to her promise to be more straightforward this season, Demi said that she had no complaints with Andrew’s voice but the talent appeared to be uncomfortable and apparently, looking awkward on stage. Paulina was on Demi’s side saying she didn’t get Andrew’s piece. It was Simon who gave Andrew the second chance, disagreeing with all three girls.

To ensure they would make the right decision, Andrew was asked to sing again. This changed Demi’s mind and Andrew got all four Yes-votes to advance in the competition.

Not everyone got Yes votes and Blake Shankle may have taken the No-votes more painfully if not totally embarrassed. He appeared too confident, described by Reality Rewind as “full of himself.” Declaring with zest, Shankle even believes that he is already “amazing,” noting that people already want his autograph.

Kelly loved his looks and the judge thought Shankle indeed has got it, thinking the contestant is “hot.” Paulina thought out loud when she said she thought Shankle posed a lot, appeared to be ready for photo shoot every second. And Demi didn’t even talk about his voice as the Latina singer took note of his style, she finds “theatrical.” Need to hear what Simon said? Not necessarily as poor Blake was sent home. No more autographs for him now.

Auditions, Nigh 3: Los Angeles.

The third night of the auditions for 'The X-Factor USA' featured great talents but there were bad auditions too: from sisters, Shirley and Cynthia to Josh Levi, brothers, AKNU, Brandie Love, Vincent Crisostomo, Carlos Guevarra, Chloe J and CJ, Colton Pack, Danie Geimer and Jeff Gutt.

Josh Levi owned third night of the auditions with “that look in his eyes that says confidence and voice to match his young, good looks.” The audience agreed with the judges who think that the 14-year old may go far this season, especially with Simon’s declaration that “he could be looking for a future star.”

Reality Rewind described Josh as “super nervous,” but he was talented indeed not to show an inch of any tension during what could be a nerve-wracking experience for the teen. He showed, with confidence, even described flirting with Demi, great sounding voice and strong stage presence.

Two groups were in opposite end of the pole on third night. First group, Drama Drama, did not impress the judges with their performance. Simon was certainly not happy with the group who named itself Drama Drama because of all the drama that teenage girls go through in life. Credibility is at stake here since they are all in their 20s.

Winds have changed for the judges to hear another group, AKNU composed of brothers as members. They live in the ghettos but they said that singing has helped them “kept on track.” Singing Amy Winehouse, “Valerie,” the group which described their music “classic” impressed the judges and the audience may have been wiping tears at the end of the performance with the back story that goes with the song. They revealed that the song is a tribute to their mother named, Valerie. Simon may have hated the song as he declared, but the performance ruled and AKNU got three Yes-votes.
