Demi Lovato raised cynicism on the couple’s future and how they deal with collaborations should they break-up. Simon Cowell insisted the idea as “silly” and claimed that America will love the X Factor duo who came to the show to make America fall in love with them.

When they first came on stage with their stripped down rendition of “Grease” soundtrack, “You’re The One That I Want,” at The X Factor Premiere over a month ago, Demi sure declared they’re “one of her favourite acts.”

But nothing could stop Demi when she warned them, and consequently, America, of the future of their collaborative works when the romance is over and they decide to call it quits.

'You guys are probably one of my favourite acts in this whole competition,' said Demi, according to the Daily Mail. 'Now here comes my tough love. I hate to be this person but from a business perspective you have to ask, “What would happen if you ever broke up?”’

But Simon Cowell stepped in. Is this part of his game on “X Factor” or the man, known for his notoriety just continues to have change of hearts and get softer everyday? Is it the thought of having a baby and with a constant squeeze in Lauren Silverman? Or he’s just really working it for the fox reality show.

Whatever dawned on Simon, it was in Alex and Sierra’s favor. He has insurmountable faith in the X Factor duo and even took them under his wing in the Group category in the Four Chair Challenge.

"It was actually a stupid question. They're not going to breakup. Silly, silly, silly question. You don't have to ask that,” the Times of India, quoted Simon as saying.

Wonder what Simon really like about them? Or What America will love about Alex and Sierra?

Here are the top 5 facts you should know about Alex and Sierra.

Their real names
Multiple reports refer to them as simply Alex and Sierra. Their real names are Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton and they have been together since 2009. The “X Factor” duo are from Florida, USA.

They are humble
Writer Natalya Jones of Country Grind met the couple and got more than up close and personal with Alex and Sierra. And one of the first things she noticed about the lovers is their remarkable humility. Natalya saw this by way Sierra had welcomed her for the interview - - instead of receiving her shaking hands, Sierra gave her a hug.

Natalya of Country Grind said, "Sorry, I like to hug people," said Deaton as she ignored our extended hand for a shake. Seriously, how can you hate people like that?”

Simon is the reason they tried out on “X Factor”
How about that. While some admits fearing Simon and his notorious and brutal honesty, Alex and Sierra has Simon as the reasons they went on the show.

“Both of us always wanted to sing in front of Simon Cowell. We wanted his opinion on us and to see if we needed to be reevaluated,” Sierra said, according to Country Grind.

The lovers sure got what they wanted. Simon was so impressed with the couple that he sees no reason not to work with them.

With this, Alex had this to say, “Hopefully he doesn't have to reevaluate us.”

They still live apart
Contrary to everyone must be thinking, Alex and Sierra do not live under the same roof. Quite surprising knowing the amount time artists need to perfect their music. But Alex and Sierra successfully hit two birds in one stone - - probably even more.

Alex declared, “We don't live together. There are some things we do together and some things we do separately. I think that balance helps out a lot.”

“We have so much fun doing this together. There is no arguing; we are just really happy,” Sierra added as quoted by Country and Grind.

Sierra pointed out that nothing can be better from being friends under any circumstances.

“We do a lot of stuff together but, I mean, it’s no more than any other group that have to be together and practice,” Sierra said, according to Wetpaint. “If anything, I think it’s better that we’re best friends and we’re dating.”

And Alex could not agree more.
“Yeah, because we can be driving to a date and [be] practicing,” added Alex, according to Wetpaint, noting that Alex and Sierra are indeed driving and practicing at the same time, giving readers of a perfect storyline for future auditions at a reality competition show, like “X Factor USA.”

Simon believes America will fall in love with Alex and Sierra
After their performance of “You’re The One That I Want,” Alex and Sierra hugged and kissed. Love is definitely in the air. Simon knew he had no reason not to take them in. He believes America will love them.

“These two I can’t see ever splitting up. You’ll always be Alex and Sierra,” Simon declared, said GossipCop, before adding, ”I really, really like you. There’s no one in the market like you. I like the fact that you put your own twists on these songs. People are really gonna fall in love with you.”

“I can think of nothing better than working with you two in this competition,” concluded Simon.
