‘X-Factor’ USA 2013: Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio, All-Female Judges with Simon Cowell Bring One Big Change for Season 3 [PHOTOS]

Having all-female judges for Season 3 has brought big change not only for the X-Factor’ but the reality show’s officials claims this could be the first in the history of television shows in the U.S.A.

Brought in to the U.S. by media mogul Simon Cowell in 2010 (which some speculate could be the primary reason he left American Idol back then) X-factor promises that America is seeing big changes on the show for its upcoming season, and the girl power is already making a buzz, as being noted as the first to be undertaken by any show in the U.S., a risk that not one has ever done before.

American Idol with two male and two female judges have been a formulaic prototype for many of the reality shows and having all three female judge sitting by Simon Cowell for the upcoming season of X-Factor is subsequently one to look forward to, said the show’s officials.

"Obviously, no-one's had three women judges. You have this Charlie's Angels thing going on with Simon Cowell. From what I heard, it went very well [at the first audition]," Mike Darnell, Fox’s Head for Alternative Programming was quoted as telling Entertainment Weekly by Digital Spy.

The two female artists joining Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio had already been introduced at X-Factor’s first audition last May 21 and the girl power showed some promise with Simon Cowell, who joined them late after being trapped in an island.

Earlier, Demi Lovato had expressed excitement when Lady Gaga and Britney Spears were reported joining the judges’ panel for the third season.

But the idea of having big names has been debunked by Cowell himself, said Darnell.

"If anything we've learned that big names don't draw a lot of viewers to the shows. They have to be a great judge. It has to feel familial and fun. That's the main thing."

But he reiterated that big changes are coming to entertain viewers.

"There will be [changes], but I can't go into that yet," he said. "Some of them will be major,” said Darnell.
