Louis Walsh talked against 4th Impact, one of the contestants on “X-Factor UK” recently, and questioned their ability to gain the public’s votes with their performance. He talked about the group before they were voted off the show. The former judge is no stranger when it comes to publicly expressing his opinions about the show. Previously he had candidly expressed his doubts on new judge Nick Grimshaw’s importance on the show and even criticised Simon Cowell.

Walsh is certainly not a fan of the all-girl group from the Philippines, which is composed of sisters Almira, Mylene, Irene and Celina. The 63-year old told BANG Showbiz that he sees no point for 4th Impact to go on any further in the “X-Factor UK.”

“I don’t see the point of the four girls wherever they’re from. I don’t know who’s going to vote for them,” he said.

4th Impact has so far been gaining a fandom worldwide as they continue to compete on the show under Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Groups category. However, despite their talent and clearly impressive vocal range, Walsh is still not convinced that the group’s performances will see them through the end of the 2015 “X-Factor UK” competition.

Walsh acknowledged that 4th Impact is “really good.” But he also told BANG Showbiz that he just doesn’t “see the point” of the group staying in the competition and that they might as well pack up and go back to "wherever" they came from.

Instead, he expressed his confidence that either Che Chesterman or Louisa Johnson will win the show. However, Walsh said he favours Johnson as his “best winner” and “biggest star” because of she reminds him of singer Joss Stone.

A representative for ITV told Mirror UK that clearly Walsh’s comments are irrelevant. If it were true then 4th Impact wouldn’t have made it through to the quarter-finals this week.

The former show judge has been known to be very vocal when it comes to his thoughts on this year’s the “X-Factor UK” talents and even on the show’s TV ranking. He had blamed Cowell for the show’s poor viewer ratings because he had reportedly messed up the show with his failed experiments.

Walsh's statements came before 4th Impact was eliminated from Sunday's Top 4 voting . Cowell and Versini voted for the group to stay while Rita Ora and Grimshaw voted for Lauren Murray. However, majority of the public votes went to Murray, according to Rappler.
