X Factor Australia's Winner Dami Im's "Alive" video was slammed by Im's fans for reportedly "looking cheap." Emerging online last week, the clip got some lambasting from the Dami Army. Music label Sony took the clip down after the incident, sources say.

The video of the X Factor winner was reportedly filmed just days after Dami Im won the grand finals. Fans of the singer felt that the video was rushed and that the quality is not good.

Fans Urged Sony to Change "Alive" Video

After the video's debut online, Dami's fans expressed their disappointment saying that the performance was "awkward" and the production "cheap." Sony Music responded to the lambasting of the video by taking it down. According to Take 40, Sony Music will reshoot the video for "Alive."

On social networking site Facebook, Sony posted, "To all Dami Im fans: The video for 'Alive' was taken down because we listened to you, the fans." In the statement, Sony added that a new shoot will be done shortly and that the company will update the fans of the singer of its progress.

Dami Im Visits Ailing Fan

Dami Im did not release a statement about the video but was busy with other activities, reports say.

Im recently met with a Brisbane teenager, a fan of the singer battling a serious disease.

The X Factor winner is a hero to Maddy Faflik according to Yahoo but Dami was inspired by her fan, sources say.

The 17-year-old Brisbane teenager has a brain tumour and has been fighting the illness for six years according to reports. The disease has taken her eyesight. Her mum Jodie said that Maddy's teenage years were spent at the hospital fighting cancer adding that "it's heartbreaking" for her daughter to go through with the ordeal.

When Madeleine met Im, the singer was reportedly speechless. Dami said, "I'm really flattered."

Madeleine says she loves music and that it is "a massive part" of her life. She adds that she loves Katy Perry and "loved it" when X Factor Australia's Dami Im sung "Roar" mentioning that Im's rendition "was beautiful."
