“X Factor Ausralia” 2016 winner Isaiah Firebrace seems to be having the time of his life on his first trip to the US. The 17-year-old crooner has recently joined Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Chris Hemsworth and other big Aussie stars at the 2017 G'Day USA Black Tie Gala.

Held at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, gala is part of the G’DAY USA series of events, seeking to successfully cultivate and enhance the long-term and deep Australia–United States relationship. The programme of events brings together industry leaders and key influencers in government, business, tourism, academia and the arts. Isaiah performed alongside some of Australia’s best entertainers, including Vance Joy, according to news.com.au.

Prior to the gala, Isaiah also sang his single “It’s Gotta Be You” at the G’Day USA Reception. Afterwards, he took a selfie with the iconic Hollywood sign on the background. He captioned it, “I just sang here in Los Angeles for the GDAY USA in front of amazing politicians from Australia, America and the embassies! WOW.... and a very special someone just told me some surprising news !!!!! Stay tuned.”

Isaiah also has taken to Instagram to share his US adventure with his fans. In one post, he wrote, “Never thought I'd actually get to the USA ,” ending it with hashtags #blessed and #dreamsdocometrue. He also posted photos of himself having a milkshake and another while at the Universal Studios.

Things are certainly looking bright for the young singer, who launched his self-titled album in December last year. His much-awaited record – which came less than a month since he was declared the “X Factor Australia” 2016 winner – includes his brand new single “It’s Gotta Be You,” as well as studio versions of the songs that he performed on “X Factor Australia.” Isaiah is now gearing up for a tour in various Australian cities, including Melbourne on Feb. 4. One of his guests may be “Australian Idol” Season 4 runner-up Jessica Mauboy, who posed with him for a selfie.
