World Wrestling Entertainment legend Kevin Nash will spend Christmas behind bars after police from Volusia County, Florida arrested him over a drunken and bloody brawl with his son. The authorities took the 55-year-old wrestler in after he was assumed to be the primary aggressor. His son, Tristen, was arrested two hours later after his uncle called the authorities due to Tristen's aggression towards his mother.

Kevin Ward's son claimed that the conflict started when his father yelled at him over a discussion of his relationship with his girlfriend. He continued that the verbal assault escalated to physical violence when his father pinned him down signature move style and he banged his head so hard on the ground that he passed out. The father refuted the claims and said that his son came home drunk, belligerent and aggressive towards him and his wife. "Diesel" also added that his son spat on his face and elbowed him, according to TMZ which first reported the incident in its website.

Kevin Nash has been active in select appearances in the WWE due in part of the "legends" contract he holds with the club. Apart from these, he has also appeared in a number of feature films including "Magic Mike," "John Wick," "The Longest Yard" and "Rock of Ages." He is slated to appear in the sequel, "Magic Mike XXL" and it is unclear if this incident will affect the said casting. The WWE on its part has already issued a statement on the development and is distancing itself from the former talent until the matter is cleared out.

"Kevin Nash has not regularly performed for WWE since January 2004. He is currently under a non-wrestling 'legends' contract which has been immediately suspended until this domestic dispute is resolved," the WWE said in an official statement acquired by Wrestlezone.

"Big Daddy Cool Diesel's" son Tristen is an aspiring rock performer and has been recording Youtube clips on of which was a venue for his father to defend him against bashers who were critical of his talent. Kevin Ward warded off internet trolls by speaking out in the comments section stating that "or those that are just haters because he is my kid, f**k you and I hope you wake up with a brain tumor tomorrow."
