It would take a lot of juicy propositions from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to lure former world heavyweight champion Dave Bautista to return to the ring for a retirement match at Wrestlemania 31. After all, the company and the now blooming actor have parted ways on not so good terms. Yet, reports are coming in that Vince McMahon and his cohorts are pulling all the plugs to bring back Batista for one last match at Wrestlemania 31.

The move by McMahon to bring back Batista might just be his alternative to sway his son-in-law, Triple H, from demanding the match with Sting. Triple H has been adamant with facing with Sting in part of the story line it produced during the pay-per-view event Survivor Series. Sting delivered his patented Scorpion Death Drop on Triple H that paved the way for Dolph Ziggler to win over Seth Rollins. What is more important is that the win ensured that the power would cede from Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, which was the carrot in the stick for the Team Cena versus Team Authority face-off. A revenge match between Sting and Triple H would just be logical given all the cards in play yet, McMahon seems to want to give the public the fight it yearns.

The ploy of Vince McMahon to bring in Batista as an alternative will also be in consideration given that Batista has been vocal about wanting to fight Triple H only, if ever he returns to the wrestling scene. It can be recalled that the star of the "Guardians of the galaxy" movie and the new villain in "James Bond 23: Spectre" was not pleased on how the company promised to give him the WWE championship only for the suits to renege on the agreement and alter the story line six months ago and gift the win to Daniel Bryan.

Batista was reportedly miffed with the story line that he did not agree to face Bryan for a second time and instead re-organized Evolution with his buddies Randy Orton and Triple H against Shield. Batista has not completely closed the door to a possible return to the avenue that made him a household name but it would be unclear if his filming schedule, which includes the "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel, playing the top villain in the next "James Bond" movie and as one of the heels in the "Kickboxer" remake, would allow him to accommodate a wrestling gig or if his movie contract would risk him sustaining a possible injury during training and on fight night. For now, McMahon may just be exploring all angles given how many of his wards are on the shelf due to retirement, injuries and contract disputes.
