There has been an Inspiring turn around for Georgia Davis, once dubbed as the "Worlds fattest teen." The 20 year old has lost 115 kilos and now weighs about 235 kilos, down from 350 kilos. Ms Davis told The Sun that she wanted to "live and be normal." Report by Heraldsun.

Ms Davis was in the news recently after being admitted to the hospital. She was diagnosed with a skin infection called cellulitis.

"(The doctors) told me my organs were failing and I was lucky to be alive.

"I was scared but also shocked. I never expected it to happen to me, even though I'd put on more weight" Ms Davis told The Sun.

Ms Davis has come a long way from that episode in the hospital. She is currently studying for a qualification in nutrition. This should fuel her determination to maintain a healthy diet and lose even more weight.

"I used to comfort eat a lot by now I'm focused again because I just want to live and be normal," she said.

"I'll see where it takes me. I really like where I am at the minute.

"I know I'm lucky to be alive and now I just want to feel happy with who I am."

Ms Davis has the ambition to be a novelist and readers can expect her to fulfill this ambition given the focus and drive she has shown.

According to media reports, Ms Davis used to have 20 Kebabs each week from a takeaway and had chocolate and crisps all day long, along with two liter bottles of coca cola.

Because of her weight problem she could not leave the house for eight months and when she fell sick emergency services had to bring down two walls in her house just to get her out to the hospital

Obesity is a growing problem in the west raising concerns about unhealthy eating habits of teenagers eating fast foods.

If and when a book written by Georgia Davis gets published, it should serve as an inspiration to others who are struggling with weight loss.
