'Wonder Woman' Gal Gadot Takes The Ice Bucket Challenge

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign to raise awareness for the Lou Gehrig's disease, also known as the ALS disease. Gal Gadot, who plays the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie "Batman vs. Superman," accepted the challenge and posted a video of her getting drenched in the cold water on her Instagram account.

According to the rules, the person who has gone through the challenge has to make a donation to the cause and can name other people to take the Ice Bucket challenge. Gal Gadot challenged Zack Snyder, director of "Batman vs. Superman," Kate Winslet and the original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter.

Gal Gadot will also be featuring in the movie "Wonder Woman," which was recently announced. The release date of the movie has still not been revealed by the producers. She will also be seen playing the role in the movie "Justice League."

Another cast member of "Batman vs. Superman," Ben Affleck, also took the Ice Bucket challenge recently. He challenged Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon among others. Jimmy Kimmel has gone through the challenge.

The co-founder of the Ice Bucket challenge Corey Griffin died recently. According to a report by The Boston Globe, Mr. Griffin went diving in the vacation island Nantucket at about 2 a.m. He had reportedly raised $100,000 for the fight against ALS disease just before his death.

The marketing campaign through the Ice Bucket Challenge has been a huge success with celebrities like Simon Cowell, Christ Pratt, Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise, Taylor Swift, Shakira, ex-president George W. Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Justine Bieber, David Beckham, Conan O'Brien, Robert Downey Jr. and many others.

Will Zack Snyder, Kate Winslet and the original "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter accept the challenge within 24 hours?
