"The Wolverine" premiered in London on July 16. Hugh Jackman had serious competition for best dressed on the red carpet as co-stars Tao Okamoto and Rila Fukushima took top spots.

Tao Okamoto wears a gown like it's second skin. The 28-year-old Japanese beauty looked smashing as she walked the red carpet at Empire Leicester Square. "The Wolverine's" Mariko Yashida is Hugh Jackman's love interest in the James Mangold film. With her dramatic high ponytail and her fashion forward, printed gown, it's easy to see why Jackman's Logan/Wolverine fell for her. Tao's red carpet choice was a halter-neck dress in a sort of embroidered camouflage brocade. Draped details at the hip and the gown's mermaid hem gave a touch of volume to Tao's svelte figure. With such an ornate gown, the model limited her accessories to a few pieces.

Rila Fukushima took on the role of Yukio in "The Wolverine." For her London premiere outfit, Rila was all about a sophisticated look with just a hint of playfulness. The model-turned-actress chose a strapless Stella McCartney jumpsuit from the designer's Pre-Fall 2013 Collection. Rila cut a sharp figure in the colour block number. Her scarlet lips gave a nice contrast to the shades of navy and black in her outfit. Rila styled her fringed hair simply and added a bold, silver cuff and black pumps to her "Wolverine" premiere attire.

It wasn't all best dressed beauties at the London premiere. Famke Janssen, who reprises her role as Jean Grey, picked a lackluster, blush-coloured gown. Kimberly Wyatt attended the premiere with her boyfriend Max Rogers. The former Pussycat Doll seemed eager to steal the spotlight in a bright yellow, sequined bodice dress that had too much of a beauty pageant feel to it.
