WPCentral posted the status of Nokia Lumia Cyan update for users worldwide. It consists the territories and devices covered by Windows Phone 8.1.

Regions Covered

Windows Phone 8.1 or Nokia Lumia Cyan update is entitled to all users around the world provided that the Lumia device remains eligible of the firmware. WPCentral revealed that the official Windows Phone 8.1 update is scheduled to be rolled out in Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and the Americas.

Devices Now Upgradable to Windows Phone 8.1

Nokia plans to push the official update to all eligible Lumia devices but being released gradually to different areas and network carriers. As of date, Windows Phone 8.1 or Nokia Lumia Cyan update is available for Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 925, Lumia 720, Lumia 920, Lumia 820, Lumia 625 and Lumia 520.

Moreover, Nokia Lumia Cyan update is compatible to devices running Windows Phone 8 OS version as noted at the company's official Web site. It means that owners with any Windows Phone 8 device are likely to expect Windows Phone 8.1 software upgrade soon.

Devices with Automatic Support for Windows Phone 8.1

On the list provided by WPCentral, three Lumia smartphones are automatic support for Windows Phone 8.1 - Nokia Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930. For Nokia, more than 20 are compatible with the new firmware:

However, Nokia Lumia Cyan update is not yet available for Nokia Lumia 929 or Icon, Lumia 928, Lumia 822, Lumia 620, Lumia 525 and Lumia 521. Users simply need to wait till the firmware update is ready.
