Windows 10 that was revealed on Jan 21 is expected to arrive on handsets like Lumia 435, Lumia 735 and Lumia 930. Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed that a high-end smartphone is going to arrive by the coming summer. During this period, Microsoft is also rumoured to release the Windows 10 OS.

According to Windows Central, Ifi Majid, the project marketing director with Microsoft Mobile Devices reveals that a topnotch smartphone is likely to arrive later this summer. It was revealed on Jan 21’s Windows 10 launch event that Microsoft will launch flagships later this year. However, Majid has now confirmed the exact time frame for the arrival of Windows 10 powered flagship. The Redmond giant will be present at the Mobile Congress World (MWC) 2015 in March as well as Microsoft Build conference that will take place a month later but it may not reveal any flagship device

In the recent past, Microsoft has focused on rolling on budget phones like the Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535 and so on. The last two feature-rich phones, the Lumia 735 and the Lumia 830 were unveiled in Sept 2014. The most recent top-level Windows Phone smartphone is the Lumia 930 that arrived more than 9 months ago. Hence, Microsoft is expected to launch a Windows 10 powered flagship soon.

Windows 10 has lots of new features such as simplified design, enhanced Cortana, new lightweight Spartan browser, synchronized action center and many more. Citing ZDNet, International Business Times claims that the preview edition of Windows 10 for phones will arrive in February.

Microsoft will bring the Windows 10 OS to all the handsets running on Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1. However, there may be certain devices that may not receive it or may end up receiving limited features, states Phone Arena. In the near future, Microsoft may reveal the extensive list of smartphones that will support the Windows 10 OS very soon.
