Earlier this year, Microsoft mentioned the availability of a custom Windows 10 mobile ROM on the Mi4. It will finally release the ROM to the Xiaomi Mi4 at a public event on Dec. 3, says Gadgets NDTV.

The Windows 10 Mobile ROM was under construction in the first half of 2015 and was later assessed by beta testers for feedback on performance. The ROM passed. Xiaomi co-founder Bin Lin gave it the go-ahead in a recently shared image on Weibo that pointed at Dec. 3 release, reports Windows Central.
