Kim Sears' boyfriend, Andy Murray, may have lost the championship but she definitely put some crown on her head during the weeks she was exposed to the public eye.

With her effortless girl-next-door style, Kim Sears drew was given much attention and constant comparison from none other than The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Both classy ladies and both have shown their simple and chic fashion sense during Wimbledon.

But quite recently, Kim is leading ahead of Kate Middleton in the style war that the public has put them in together. According to one high profile salon, there is a growing number of customers requesting for "The Kim" rather than popular blow-dry "The Kate."

Kim Sears' glossy and wavy locks have been gaining much attention over the past few weeks. And Kate's bouncy hairstyle was the most requested on salons, until Kim came along.

"Our customers regularly ask us to recreate the hair styles of their favorite celebrities, and Kate is amongst those most requested," said Mathew Soobroy, master stylist at Charles Worthington Salons. "But as the UK has been gripped watching Andy Murray on Centre Court, we've experienced an incredible uplift in requests for Kim Sears' style, exceeding requests for other celebrities by over 50 per cent."

"It's no surprise that Kim Sears is giving stylish celebrities some serious competition in the hair arena this summer. Her natural, glossy hair is the perfect relaxed summer look. Her style says girl next door, but with a little extra gloss and bounce," Soobroy added.
