The TV series' confirmed premiere date will be on October 17 and an official teaser video has been released to further excite the waiting fans.

On Thursday afternoon, Matt Bomer displayed his animal-loving side when he played with an adorable dog at the "White Collar" Season 5 New York City set during a break from filming. The 35-year-old actor, who appeared to be enjoying the companion of his four-legged best friend, even cupped the dog's face in its hands before giving it a smooch on the nose.

Fans of Matt Bomer will not be surprised to see the actor very affectionate with dogs. The "White Collar" star is known for his adoration with dogs to the point that one of his huge fansites shows a special gallery dedicated to Matt and his canine friend.

Since it was a busy filming day for the latest season of the TV series, Mr Bomer had to part ways with his adorable friend and work with co-stars Bridget Regan and Willie Garson. The actor was spotted as well donning a blue jumpsuit costume while filming the scenes for the upcoming season's episodes.

"White Collar" fans are now excitedly waiting for Matt Bomer to return as Neal Caffrey, the convicted con artist released on the agreement that he will work with an FBI Agent in tracking down other white collar criminals. The new season is set to begin with new faces added to the cast members.

"Common Law" actor Warren Kole will appear in "White Collar" Season 5 as Matt Bomer's new handler. It has been previously reported that "Beauty and the Beast" actress Bridget Regan will portray book scholar Rebecca Lowe and Neal Caffrey's new love interest.

Willie Garson reprises his character Mozzie and Tim DeKay returns as FBI Agent Peter Burke entangled in a web of trouble when he was arrested in Season 4 finale. USA Network Television's "White Collar" Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on October 17, Thursday, at 9 p.m.
