Who is fit to play Waldo? Photo by trailershut.com

MGM recently acquired the rights for the movie adaptation of 'Where's Waldo?' with plans of making the famous kids' book into an action-filled family movie. According to the CEO of Classic Media, this could be the answer to the most widely searched animated character all over the world.

But who would be cast as Waldo? Here we feature five potential Hollywood stars of today who can fit in those long-sleeved red-stripes shirts along with the bonnet and the glasses.

Jim Parsons

This star of "Big Bang Theory" can fit the role just because he has the height of Waldo and is very geeky.

Justin Timberlake

Apart from the glasses that fit him well in movies like "The Social Network" and "Bad Teacher," he is also one of the most in-demand young stars of today. Plus, the advantage that even if producers want Waldo to sing in the film, then he is just the guy for it.

John Krasinski

This cool-looking guy got the attention of many from his very simple yet humorous role as Jim in the hit U.S. version of "The Office." He can surely also be able to carry out the role well with his clueless facial expressions.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse

This young guy also known as "McLovin" can also be the main man for this role. Admit it, he actually has close similarities with the character.

Adam Brody

This young hunk has the features of Waldo, especially whenever he wears a bonnet. But he is way too handsome for the animated character everyone is looking for all the time.

Jason Schwartzman

He may not have the glasses but in just one look (especially with the blank gaze), this actor can pass for the personality of Waldo.

Check out the photos of each potential Waldo and judge for yourself who can play it best.
