The latest WhatsApp version 2.12.11 with 3D Touch and Peek and Pop for Apple 1OS devices is designed to help iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users preview content without having to open it, reports Neuro Gadget.

There’s a touch of newness to WhatsApp this time with a re-styled Setting Menu and dash of colours to add to its look. It doesn’t matter if you’re still using an old iPhone since the app brings a whole new display with rich previews.

If you want to see a message on WhatsApp, slightly press on it, but if you want to open it then press a little more. This means that the Peek option allows users to preview content without having to open it, while the Pop feature allows you to check the content in details.

For the Pop option, you’ll have to press the message slightly deeper to get access to a number of shortcuts leading to pages that you have to swipe from bottom to top to explore.

The new WhatsApp update brings with it the following features:

Every link you receive or send includes a rich preview, though it’s up to you whether you want to incorporate it when sending links. With its 3D Touch feature, you can quickly Peek and Pop chats. Furthermore, you can check through starred messages at a glance across all chats in the Settings Menu, reports IBTimes. co.uk.

Peek and Pop is also available for Mail apps, Photos, Safari and Google Maps, making it easy for users to navigate. Indeed, the 3D Touch function of the WhatsApp version is a breakthrough since most apps don’t support 3D feature and this is why tech manufacturers are trying to include them for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

WhatsApp is unarguably at the number one spot with its latest 3D Touch feature. In the recent past, the company issued a quick reply option for iOS 9.1 devices that brought the company to spotlight.
