What's With India? Celebrities Who Flew To India In 2011 [PHOTOS]

Movies in Hollywood have been shot in the country of India for the past years. In fact the very first one was for a James Bond film entitled 'Octopussy' way back in the 80s. From then on, many other movies followed the trend.

And it was in 2011 when a lot of Hollywood celebrities visited India and created a stir amongst its people while finding inspiration along the way. Here we feature those celebrities from Tom Cruise, Hugh Jackman, Josh Hartnett, Naomi Watts, and a lot more!

Tom Cruise

He has been the biggest Hollywood star who paid India a visit last year in line with the promotion of his latest 'Mission Impossible' film. It was also controversial since there were rumours that a lot of the fans who welcomed him in the airport were paid for they did not know how big a star Tom is.

Naomi Watts

The actress enjoyed the Jal Mahal in Jaipur with her mother and kids while her husband was in old Delhi to shoot some scenes for his latest movie called 'Mira Neir.' Watts also took advantage to visit the Safdarjung Hospital to be able to extend help with her presence as UN AIDS Goodwill Ambassador.

Lady Gaga

The artist, who is also known as a Bollywood fan, performed at the parties' finale of the first ever Formula One Grand Prix in India. She was spotted wearing sari inspired dresses that she made it feel that India is her true home.

Hugh Jackman

He arrived in a film event held in Mumbai and even danced with Shah Rukh Khan and Vidya Balan right on a desi track. The Aussie actor was a true charm to the entire Indian media during his visit.

Josh Hartnett

He was the only Hollywood actor who visited India in a very private setting for he was very focused with his work on shooting the film 'Singularity.' However, he was linked up with his Bollywood female co-star Bipashu Basu.
