Since the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was released earlier this year, curved screens have somehow become a trend among today’s technology. Although a curved display is not a necessary smartphone feature, a new concept design has shown a potential iPhone 7 that sports curves on both of its sides.

The iPhone 7 Edge design of Hasan Kaymak seems to be quite similar to the appeal of the iPhone 6 – except for the highly noticeable curves on the sides of the device. Although the screens have been transformed into something more Edge-like, the bezel-less display is not as curved as the one that the Galaxy S6 Edge is sporting, as pointed out by BGR, which also has the Kaymak's concept design video clip.

Just like with the current flagship smartphone of the Korean tech giant, Kaymak’s version of the iPhone 7 will also boast of some features that will be assigned to the unit’s subtle sloping edges. As demonstrated in the video clip, the iPhone 7’s curved sides will also display notifications.

Apart from that, it also looks like the upcoming Apple flagship smartphone will be sporting a more polished antenna design and got rid of the lines that are usually founds at the back of the casing. This particular iPhone 7 concept design also shows that the hole meant for the speaker was moved.

Plus, the iPhone 7 is rumored to be only 6 millimeters thin – which means that it will be even slimmer than its predecessor, the iPhone 6. Hopefully, if this design does come to fruition, its thinness will not further contribute to the iPhone 6’s Bendgate issue.

Although there is a possibility that Apple might use this particular iPhone 7 concept design, Value Walk has reported that it is highly unlikely. According to report, the Cupertino-based tech giant will never – not in a million years – make their smartphones look like Samsung’s to avoid any court battles.
