So what happens when the most anticipated-turned-controversial game Pokémon Go gets in the hands of Mr Bean? Of course Mr Bean, as childish as he is, gets addicted and goes out on his way to become a Pokémon master. At least that’s how a creative video showed Mr. Bean, amusingly depicting people playing Pokémon Go these days.

Pokémon Go is all the hype these days and everybody knows about it. However, this generation might be unaware of who Mr Bean is. Mr Bean is a popular British sitcom adapted from a comic of the same name. The title character is created and played by English actor Rowan Atkinson. It was one of the most successful sitcoms during its time, and it established Atkinson as one of the top 50 funniest British actors.

Now the video making the rounds in social media sites, specifically Facebook, incorporated the iconic character with the famous game. It shows what happens when Mr Bean plays Pokémon Go.

Garnering over 16 million views and over 95 thousand likes to date, the Facebook video wittily shows just how Pokémon Go gamers, represented by Mr Bean, not only creates a messy situation around them but also endangers themselves for game’s sake. Lucky for Mr Bean that he can get away with everything, but people in reality have actually gotten into accidents due to the game.

Pokémon Go causing car accidents

Police officers told the Herald Sun that the increase in number of road accidents is attributed to people playing Pokémon Go.

Police reports say that there has been a sharp rise in car accidents and near misses caused by motorists playing the game. Similarly, pedestrians playing the game near roads are warned to pay attention to their surroundings.
