"Wentworth" season 5 will see the return of Allie (Kate Jenkinson). The last season has seen her waking up from a coma while her lesbian lover, Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack), was being stabbed to death by Joan as “The Freak” Ferguson (Pamela Rabe). Reports say that Allie might seek revenge for the death of Bea.

It is most likely that Allie will learn about what happened to Bea in "Wentworth" season 5. It is expected that she will do everything in her power to make sure that Joan pays for what she did. Allie felt safe and loved when she was with Bea. Now that her lover is gone, she is likely to feel devastated and obsessed with seeking revenge.

Several "Wentworth" fans were disheartened that Allie and Bea were not able to say goodbye to each other before the latter passed away. Theories say that once Allie learns that her lover is dead, she will reminisce about the moments they have shared. Therefore, there is a possibility that Bea will appear in a flashback.

Jenkinson has opened up about how she thinks "Wentworth" season 5 would look like without the presence of the lead character. She said her reaction when she first learned that Bea will die is the same as the reaction of viewers.

“My initial thought was, ‘well, how does this work?,” she said. She admitted that she has also wondered about how the show will continue without the main character.

Even Jenkinson thought that it was a big mistake to kill Bea in the series. The beloved character has been stabbed multiple times in the final episode of "Wentworth" season 4 and it is impossible that she will still be alive.

Producer Jo Porter has previously confirmed that Bea is really gone. She has pointed out that the decision to write the character out of the show was for dramatic purposes.

But Jenkinson managed to stay positive about "Wentworth" season 5. She said she is confident with what she has seen so far with the fifth season. “I’m highly invested in seeing what happens in the prison post-Bea. I’m sure even our most scandalised fans will be as well,” she told Curve Mag in an interview.

It will be interesting to see how Allie will become in "Wentworth" season 5 now that Bea is gone. The death of her lover could make her a better or bitter person.

The first season of the crime drama TV series originally aired on SoHo in Australia. Official air date for “Wentworth” season 5 is yet to be announced.
