In "Wentworth" Season 5, episode 3, Kaz tried to stop the drug trade in jail to prove that she's not a weak leader. Meanwhile, Ferguson sees another opportunity to reclaim her power. As for Franky, she asked Shayne (Hunter Page-Lochard) to help her prove that she's innocent. She also tried to separate herself from Bridget (Libby Tanner).

While all this is happening, Liz (Celia Ireland) had to take the stand at Sonia's (Sigrid Thornton) trial. Unfortunately, things didn't go her way. It didn't help that the defence counsel surprised her with new evidence that allowed Sonia to walk free from court. To make matters worse, Liz returns to Wentworth in a much worse position than her previous one. Pete McTighe wrote this episode, which was directed by Geoff Bennett.
