The video of Miss Utah Marissa Powell flub at the Q&A portion of the Miss USA Pageant has gone viral, making the beauty becoming more of a household name than the crowned winner, Miss Connecticut Erin Brady.

Powell is getting much attention for going dead air during the question-and-answer portion when judge Nene Leakes asked her about the status of women and men in the work place in terms of salary, relating it to a recent study showing that almost half of American families have women who brings home more earnings, yet they receive lower pay than men.

The Question: "A recent report shows that in 40 percent of American families with children, women are the primary earners, yet they continue to earn less than men. What does this say about society?"

Powell’s Answer: "I think we can relate this back to education, and how we are continuing to strive to," she said, (Long Pause) adding, "figure out how to create jobs right now. That is the biggest problem. And I think, especially the men are, um, seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to try to figure out how to create education better so we can solve this problem. Thank you.”

The pageant beauty didn’t give anyone a chance for a follow-up question. What caught everyone attention with her response was the long pause, giving her and those watching her, some goosies of discomfort - - some may have even felt like more sorry for the lady.

No wonder why the short clip by user theworldofisaac has been viewed 3,559,849 times after being posted on YouTube on June 16, 2013. As uncomfortable as it may have been for Powell and those watching her, Miss Utah brought home a winner - - after being crowned third runner up.
