Sony is planning something big for its event at the IFA 2015. The company is expected to unveil a wide selection of its products in a press conference on Sept. 2 in Berlin. The event kicks off at 3pm GMT today.

The official website of Sony UK reveals that President and CEO Kazuo Hirai will be making some new and exciting announcements at the event. Sony will be livestreaming the IFA 2015 press conference on the web page. All new product announcements, photos and video footages will also be available on the website.

The official Facebook, Instagram (SONYIFA @ Instagram) and Twitter (SONYIFA@TWITTER) pages will keep customers updated with latest news from IFA. The company will use Periscope, the live video broadcast app, to post all updates.

Sony’s main highlight at the event is its flagship smartphone Xperia Z5 along with a compact and premium version, also known as Xperia Z5 Ultra. These two devices are said to be launched at the event. Z5 will be the first Xperia series to house a fingerprint scanner. The device is also expected to sport a stylish 23MP rear camera with fastest autofocus in the market.

The Sony IFA home page also features a collage of many products to be unveiled during the trade show in Germany. The products range from a super-thin sleek TV, a Walkman, a camera and a handicam. According to PCAdvisor, Sony will launch a brand-new Bravia S90 4K TV. The company introduced the SmartWatch 3 at the same event last year. IFA 2015 might also witness a new iteration of the predecessor.
