Lady Gaga is leaving no stones unturned to promote her new single "Applause" after the feisty singer released the music video of the song on Monday. One look at the video and you feel shocked (what else can you expect from Gaga?) and squeamish both.

Gaga's new music video "Applause" shows her in various forms of nude and semi-nude dresses but one thing that takes you by surprise is - Is this the same Gaga who has recovered from major hip surgery some time back?

The singer uses shock-factor as the main basis of the video, which shows Gaga's head getting morphed into a giant black swan and another scene will let your jaws drop where the singer gyrates to music beats while wearing a hands-shaped bra in black colour. Gaga is also seen supporting the same black hands like neck piece, giving the viewers a creepy feeling.

The singer sports about a dozen different outfits which barely covers her modesty and leaves nothing to her fan's imagination. In one scene Gaga is seen emerging out of a black hat wearing a 80s style sequined dress.

The video was released on "Good Morning America" show Monday where Gaga's fans created a frenzy to get a glimpse of the singer who was seen wearing a very short white dress and donning huge white glasses. The singer arrived in a vintage car and everything about her screamed attentions.

We have some good news too for the singer's fans. Gaga will be opening the 2013 MTV Music Video Awards. "I am so excited to announce I'll be opening the 2013 @MTV Video Music Awards! Here's gaga-monster tv promo!," the singer tweeted.

"I'm happy it's in the world," Gaga said on "GMA" about the "Applause." The singer created the song and the very visual video during the time she cancelled her "Born This Way" tour because of hip surgery.

"I couldn't do anything else, but create," she said on the show. "I couldn't dance. I couldn't walk. I couldn't anything. I sat on the couch and I worked every day and I wrote all my ideas down and I obsessed, obsessed about the music."

"Applause" is the first single from Gaga's "ARTPOP," which arrives on Nov. 11.
