Apple's press event looms around the corner with the tech giant accidentally leaking images of its iPad Air 2. According to recent information, the Cupertino-based giant is expected to unveil a series of announcements including the new tablet, upcoming Macbook bump, Apple iOS 8 and Apple Pay among others. The recent leak appears to confirm some of the speculated specs promising killer functionality. Can Apple deliver once more?

Apple's iPhone 6 series took the spotlight and broke records upon release. It appears Apple wants to replicate the same success with another press event. The upcoming Apple affair will take place 10pm Pacific time and 6pm in the UK. The company released a teaser previously bearing the words: "It's been way too long." For those who wish to watch the live event, the live stream requires Safari on iOS 6.0 or later and Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later according to MacWorld. Another option is to watch via second or third generation Apple TV.

The stream is available through the Apple's events page.

Apple has always been known for being as secretive as possible with its announcements. The company is always tight lipped regardless of the predictions and leaks. However, this time around, the leak came internally. According to TIME, people saw screenshots of the iOS 8 iPad user guide on the iTunes store. The screenshots also revealed a line saying: "everything you need to know about iPad, in a handy format." The leak, first spotted by 9to5Mac, was still live around 1:45 p.m. ET. It hinted some of the specs of the upcoming iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 with the TouchID confirming previous leads.

Other devices expected to be announced during the event include the Mac mini, 27-inch Retina iMac featuring 5K screen, MacBook Pro and Apple TV. Analysts also believe that Apple will shed more light into its Apple Pay system with more clarifications about the iOS 8 updates.
