The first official trailer of the upcoming movie “Warcraft” is not scheduled to launch until November 2015. However, Legendary Pictures decided to give its fans a treat by presenting the video teaser at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, or SDCC.

“Blood was spilt for this… “Today has been all about SDCC. Now I want to let you know the trailer will finally release to ALL in November,” writer and director Duncan Jones posted on Twitter.

Kotaku reports that the teaser allowed fans to soar the skies of Azeroth, on top of a Gryphon. Dragging the mouse around the YouTube player allowed the user to look around and view the city of Stormwind from the top. However, it will only work for users viewing it via Chrome. Using other Internet browsers will make the graphics appear buggy. The video clip lasted only one minute and 21 seconds, but was very unique in its own way, providing users with the feeling that they are actually on the back of the powerful bird. The city seemed quiet, featuring a few buildings with high steeples, stone streets and other medieval structures. The city seemed to be surrounded by tree-covered mountains. The sky was blue and filled with white clouds.

At San Diego Comic-Con, director Duncan Jones, has been promoting “Warcraft,” where he introduced a couple of Weta statues of the characters Orgrim and King Llane during preview night. These complemented the official logo of the upcoming movie and other posters which were exclusive to the special event. Screen Rant reveals that Jones is preparing to make two more films after the first “Warcraft” movie, creating a full movie trilogy of the popular PC game.

Gamespresso reveals that there is a new book series recently announced by Blizzard called “Warcraft Chronicles: Vol. 1,” which will feature various tales from the “World of Warcraft.” There will be a series of books that tell stories beginning from the creation of the "Warcraft" universe until the story of “The Last Guardian,” which is basically the plot of “Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.”

The announcement was made by Chris Metzen, Blizzard’s senior vice president. Peter Lee, a Blizzard artist, was asked to come up with the images for the book. “Warcraft” is set to be released in theatres on June 10, 2016.
