Upcoming Microsoft Lumia 435 and Lumia 435 Dual SIM are two of the entry-level Windows Phone 8.1-based Lumia devices set for an early 2015 release. When it comes to price, the aforesaid devices will set the buyers back by 70 euro, which roughly translates to $82.

Moving on to the key Lumia 435 specifications, this smartphone will reportedly sport a pocket-friendly 4.0-inch WVGA LCD display, packed with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by a modest (Qualcomm Snapdragon 200) chipset with a dual-core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by a decent 1 GB of RAM, notes GSM Arena.

With respect to the software configuration, the handset will reportedly run the Windows Phone 8.1 OS, bundled with Lumia Denim update. And speaking of onboard memory, this Lumia device will come equipped with 8 GB of internal storage, in addition to microSD card support for expansion up to 128 GB. Additionally, potential buyers can also avail 30 GB of OneDrive cloud storage for free from Microsoft.

Notably, this entry-level handset allows video calls via Skype. To be specific, the front-facing camera unit lets the user to make Skype video calls and it is reportedly easy to switch between voice and video calls/chats, thanks to the in-built Skype integration. Similar to other Lumia devices, this handset also comes with pre-installed Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office suite support with access to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. In addition, the OneNote can also be used as a note-taking tool, according to Lumia Conversations.

Moving on to the camera specification, the Lumia 435 will house a 2 MP rear-facing fixed-focus unit, along with a VGA shooter at the front. Notably, the 2 MP unit is capable of recording 480p videos. Plus, the Lumia Camera and Selfie apps will come pre-installed on the handset. Although the phone does not support 4G LTE, it will still support 42.2 Mbps downlink speeds over 3G, says GSM Arena.

Moreover, the whole configuration is powered by a good-enough 1,560 mAh battery unit that has the capability to provide 12 hours of 3G talk-time or 21 hours of 2G talk-time. When it comes to Lumia 435 release date, both single-SIM and dual-SIM variants will apparently hit the store shelves of various regions in Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and Middle East in February.
