“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 11 is set to highlight the baddies as Negan makes his season 7B comeback. The Saviours’ leader was last seen gutting an Alexandrian open and taking another as prisoner. He won’t be returning home happy to the Sanctuary when he finds out that yet another Alexandrian has bolted.

Spoiler alert: This preview contains plot details about “The Walking Dead” season 7, which premiered Oct. 20. The series is available for Australian viewers to watch on Foxtel every Monday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

“Hostiles and Calamities” marks Negan’s midseason return. He didn’t show up at all during the last two episodes, so fans should expect the Lucille-loving villain to make things interesting, especially since he’ll find out that Daryl has ran off. Negan just might take out his frustration over Daryl’s escape on his new prisoner, Eugene.

The Saviours took Eugene hostage during the midseason finale after they found out that he has bullet-making skills. Eugene had to take one for Team Alexandria following Rosita’s failed attempt to kill Negan with one of his ammos. He may have to give in to whatever Negan has to say in order to stay alive, even at the expense of others’ lives.

“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 11 sneak peek shows Negan threatening Eugene with his treasured baseball bat. The Saviours’ leader shows him the damage done to Lucille, with the bullet still stuck in its place. Eugene is clearly shaken up and distressed.

“That, my friend, is the bullet you made,” says Negan. “Now under normal circumstances, I’d be showing you that real close over and over again. But Eugene, see, all I really want to know is if you are a smarty pants.”

The weirdest thing about the clip, though, is the fact that Eugene is holding a large jar of pickles all throughout the scene. It wouldn’t be surprising if Negan made him carry the jar as part of his torture tricks. Hopefully Eugene doesn’t drop the pickles, or else he may further infuriate the bat-swinging antagonist.

Another character that should feel the wrath of Negan following Daryl’s breakout is Dwight. All signs point to him as the person to be blamed for the escape. “Hostiles and Calamities” may just be the episode where fans finally get to see what most are expecting: Dwight snapping and changing sides.

“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 11 is going to have an extended runtime just like the first two installements of the season’s second half. “Hostiles and Calamities” is set to run for 68 minutes.
