Beth Greene's (Emily Kinney) death in the mid-season finale of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 was devastating for the survivors and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) in particular. Meanwhile, Norman Reedus talked about Daryl-Carol romantic relationship in the future.

"I never say never," Reedus told TVGuide.com when asked if fans can see a romantic relationship between Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).

"I think if he felt those feelings before, he didn't quite understand what those feelings were. But I think there was a part of him that was open to that," "The Walking Dead" star added.

It will be interesting to see Daryl's romantic side and how the show unveils the same.

"The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus told TVGuide.com about how his character felt after losing Beth. Reedus mentioned that Daryl was devastated after Beth's death as he was looking for her for a long time after she was abducted.

Reedus revealed that for him "Beth meant a lot" and she was "one of the only good people left in the world." Beth was like a "beacon of hope" for Daryl and her departure saddened him.

When asked what Daryl will do with the grief inside him after Beth's passing. Reedus said that his character might shut down for a while as he is filled with grief.

"On this show, something devastating happens and you never ever get to go through it because something else horrible happens. There'll be grieving and there'll be anger and there'll be outbursts. He's ready to just ambush things and just attack," Reedus said.
