"The Voice" is only few days away from its Live Finals where they would declare the winner of Season 7 (2014). The show recently announced its finalists including the first ever wildcard entry. The big revelation was made on "The Today Show" by host Carson Daly. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

"The Voice" Season 7 declared the names of the final three on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014. Three out of the top 5 were chosen by American viewers to compete in the Live Finals. The decision by viewers was based on factors including the contestants' semifinals performances on Dec. 8 episode, iTunes Charts ranking, popularity and more.

The final three as declared during the episode are Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake), Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison (Team Adam). However, in a newly introduced twist, the show created a fourth spot in the finals to be filled by one from the top 12 eliminated contestants, including the most recently eliminated Damien and Taylor John Williams.

In the semifinals results episode, nine artists took the "The Voice" stage one last time to earn the fourth spot among the finalists. Those who performed for the wildcard spot are:

Team Blake: Reagan James and Jessie Pitts

Team Gwen: Ryan Sill, Anita Antoinette and Taylor John Williams

Team Pharrell: Sugar Joans, Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey

Team Adam: Damien

Nine out of five performances figured in iTunes songs charts. However, the chosen one was Team Adam artist Damien. This was one last chance for Team Pharrell and Team Gwen to come back in the competition for the final spot. Fans know that the ultimate battle is now between "The Voice" veterans Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Blake has won three consecutive seasons of NBC's popular reality music competition. Adam Levine, meanwhile, is the winning coach of two seasons.

Damien is a 35-year-old musician from Louisiana. As stated on NBC, he "has been singing his whole life." He began singing at his father's church, and he studied opera in college. He is an R&B singer who moved to Los Angeles in an attempt to launch his music career. Meanwhile, Damien also works for the TSA at the LA airport. He recently suffered the tragic loss of a friend and a colleague during a "domestic terrorist attack" at his workplace.

Not only is Damien a comeback artist but he is also a four-chair turnaround contestant. He began his journey with a performance of the song "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." Before reaching finals, he beat Kelli Douglas and Toia Jones in the Battle and Knockout rounds. Now that he has been selected as the wildcard entry, he will be battling it out in the finals with the final three: Craig Wayne Boyd, Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison.
