"The Voice" Season 7 (2014) has reached its semifinals wherein the top five artists performed to win the votes and gain entry for Live Finals. Meanwhile, the four judges--Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton--continue to be a part of the game as mentors. Here is a detailed recap of "The Voice" Season 7 Live Show Week 5. Read on to find out who shined through their performances. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

"The Voice" Season 7 Live Shows

For those unfamiliar, during the Live Shows, the artists perform live on stage not only to impress their coaches but also to win the public's vote. American viewers express their opinion through various voting mediums and decide the fate of the contestants. The second segment of the week features eliminations. However, this week, the Tuesday episode will host a wildcard round. During this round, the eliminated artists in the top 12 will get one last chance to perform on the stage of "The Voice" Season 7 and get selected for a comeback. One artist will gain entry straight to the Live Finals.

"The Voice" Season 7 Semifinals/Week 5 Live Shows: Top 5 Perform (Recap, Spoilers)

The semifinals round of "The Voice" Season 7 featured two rounds. In the first part of the episode, the top 5 artists performed the songs picked by their coaches. In the following round, contestants performed their own song choice.

The show kicked off with a special performance by Coach Blake Shelton. He was joined by singer Ashley Monroe on stage to perform their latest duet "Lonely Tonight."

Round One

Following the guest performance, a Team Adam contestant kicked off "The Voice" Season 7 Semifinals. Damien took the stage to perform Michael Jackson's "She's Out of My Life."

Next up was Team Blake's Craig Wayne Boyd. He sang "Workin' Man Blues" by Merle Haggard. He was followed by Team Gwen contestant Taylor John Williams. He performed "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.

Performing next was Team Adam contestants. Matt McAndrew sang the cover of Ed Sheeran's "Make it Rain." He was followed by his teammate Chris Jamison, who performed Maroon 5's "Sugar."

Round 2

The second round was once again kicked off with a performance by Team Adam contestant Damien. He sang the rendition of "I Don't Want to Wait" by Paula Cole.

Moving on to the next artist, Craig Wayne Boyd took the stage to perform "Old Rugged Cross." Taylor John Williams sang Taylor Swift's latest hit single "Blank Space."

Toward the end, the remaining Team Adam contestants took the stage one after the other to deliver their second semifinals performances. Matt McAndrew performed a cover of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For." The last performer of "The Voice" Season 7 Semifinals was Chris Jamison. He performed Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man."

"The Voice" Season 7 (2014) will return with its Week 5 Live Shows Elimination and Wild Card Episode on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at 8 p.m. on ABC. Semifinals week's elimination process will reveal the three finalists and one wildcard entry. For more spoilers, read below:
