"The Voice" Season 7 (2014) kick started the three-part Live Playoffs round of the competition on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. The night featured some very talented artists' performance in an entertaining segment. One after the other, the artists performed to impress the audience and win the votes of public. Meanwhile, the four judges-Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton-judged and mentored contestants from their team. 'The Voice' Season 7 (2014) Live Playoffs

The show follows the same format as its previous seasons. The top 20 contestants will perform the songs chosen by their coaches before facing the elimination based on America's vote and judges' choice. By the end of the three-part Live Playoffs, the competition will be narrowed down to final 12 contestants who will battle it out in the Live Shows for the top spot, most coveted trophy and the contract.

'The Voice' Season 7 (2014) Live Playoffs Recap (Spoilers)

The show kicked off with scintillating performance by the judges of the show. After the welcome speech by host Carson Daly, Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 took over the stage to perform his latest single "Animals." He was followed by Live Playoffs performances of the artists from Team Blake and Team Adam.

Taylor Brashears delivered the opening performance of "The Voice" Season 7's Live Playoffs. He sang the rendition of "Long Time Gone" by Dixie Chicks chosen by his coach Blake Shelton.

Next up was Chris Jamison from Team Adam. Adam picked up "Don't" by Ed Sheeran for him. He was followed by Jessie Pitts from Coach Blake's team. He sang "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. She earned praises from the four coaches.

Next up was another artist from the same team. James David Carter sang "Two of a Kind (Work on a Full House) by Garth Brooks. His coach compared his work to that of Rascal Flatts.

Matt McAndrews from Team Adam performed next. He sang the cover of "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys. Reagan James from Blake's team sang "Try" by Colbie Caillat.

Taylor Phelan from Team Adam sang "Cool Kids" by Echosmith and Mia Pfirrman performed the rendition of Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful."

Damien from Team Adam took the stage next to perform. He sang Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One." The last performance of Live Playoffs- Part 1 was delivered by Craig Wayne Boyd from Team Blake. He performed "Some Kind of Wonderful" by Grand Funk Railroad.

The voting lines are now open for viewers to assist in their favourite artists get closer to the ultimate prize. "The Voice" Season 7 (2014) will return with Live Playoffs Part 1 Elimination episode on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. For more recaps and spoilers, read below:
