“The Voice US” Season 11 rumors surfaced that Adam Levine refuses to return unless fellow coach Miley Cyrus quits the show. Reportedly, the “Party in the USA” singer has also not been in the best of terms with the rest of the celebrity coaches on “The Voice USA,” namely Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton.

Adam and Miley first clashed in “The Voice US” Season 10, when the latter appeared on the show as a key adviser, writes Us Weekly. During “The Voice US” Season 11, Levine and Cyrus have been arguing constantly on the set. The two reportedly have short attention spans and are too similar, thereby finding each other annoying. Adam would be agitated whenever Miley interrupts him. Miley, on the other hand, enjoyed getting on the Maroon 5 frontman’s nerves. Levine allegedly also has the habit of nitpicking everything that Miley says.

Adam Levine seemed to be most affected by Miley, saying that he will not return to “The Voice USA” if Miley would still be there. NBC previously confirmed that Miley would return for Season 13. Gwen Stefani will take her place in Season 12. The show producers have not yet announced the coach lineup for Season 13, which is scheduled to launch in September 2017. One source said that Adam cannot stand Miley and finds her to be the most obnoxious person ever.

Another source claimed that Adam was thrilled to know that Gwen will substitute Miley, while the rest of the panel will stay the same in “The Voice US” Season 12. Gwen is the girlfriend of Blake Shelton, but the latter is said to have no issues with Miley. Gwen skipped Season 11 due to tour events that collided with the taping schedule. There were also talks that Adam and Blake, who have been on the show since it started, are considering leaving the show altogether with Gwen. The two reportedly feel that they already had a good run as show judges.

Apparently, the producers of “The Voice US” do not seem affected by the rumored conflict between the two stars, after signing Cyrus for Season 13. “The Voice US” Season 11 is currently airing on NBC every Monday and Tuesday.
