“The Voice Australia” coach Ricky Martin recently performed his hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca” with Taylor Swift in her “1989 Tour” in Miami, Florida. In a recent interview, Martin was asked about what it was like being in the “Bad Blood” singer’s squad.

“She's a sweetheart,” Martin said of Swift in an interview with People. “She said, ‘Let's do it!’ And I'm like, ‘I'm ready!’

Martin said he's always wanted to see Swift’s show. When he was in Miami, Swift told him that she's always wanted to sing “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and asked them if they can perform it together.

Aside from describing her as a sweetheart, Martin said Swift was very cool and she looked very beautiful and sexy. “The Voice Australia” coach said he was flattered to be part of the “Bad Blood” singer’s squad and that her “1989 Tour” in Miami was “a very special night.”

The Puerto Rican pop star also gave some advice to young singers. He said that they need to have passion for entertainment and be highly focused and disciplined.

According to Martin, sacrificing time is part of being an artist. He pointed out that spending time in a studio or in front of a camera, which means being away from home and family, is inevitable, so young artists must be able to deal with it.

Back on Feb. 10, Martin released his 10th studio album as a solo artist. The album is titled “A Quien Quiera Escuchar,” which means “To Those Who Want to Listen.” It has 10 Spanish songs.

Recently, Martin was spotted in Doha, Qatar wearing a thobe outside the Museum of Islamic Art. A representative for the museum told Doha News that the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer’s visit in the museum was not an official one as he went there for personal reasons.
