“The Voice Australia” 2017 season 6 episode 8 saw the ongoing battle between Seal and Boy George take a different turn. The two coaches decided to put their differences aside and focus on loving each other. The new round of Blind Auditions saw many contestants with equally astounding voices and stories.

Episode 8 kicked off with country girl Chloe Kandetzki. The 15-year-old looked fragile because of her built but she belted out the powerful Jackson 5 classic “Who's Lovin' You” and impressed the judges. Both Seal and Kelly Rowland turned their chairs at the same time and promised to take her career to great heights. In the end, the teenager chose Team Kelly.

Next up was Russ Walker, brother of a contestant from “Australian Idol.” He performed Alicia Keys' “If I Aint' Got You” and got a yes from Seal, Delta Goodrem and Rowland. Turns out Walker and his brother are huge fans of Rowland, so he decided to go with Team Kelly.

“The Voice Australia” 2017 saw a lot of not-so-impressive performances by various contestants until Liam Endersby made his entrance. He had an emotional story to share. The 19-year-old was a hopeful musician who toured and performed on stage but met a car accident three years ago, leaving him injured that he could barely pick up his instruments. The teenager gave his best performance on the piano with “Dancing on My Own” by Robyn. Check out the video below.

Following Endersby was Rachael Noakes, who is among 13 children in the family, all of whom love seeing her perform. She sang Goodrem's song "Dear Life,” impressing the coaches when she sang the second verse.

Jessica D'Souza was next, singing Patti LaBelle's mega hit “Lady Marmalade.” The coaches were undecided about her and did not press their buzzers. "Dammit, I know I'm going to regret that," Seal said. The last performance of the day was from James Banks, who has a drag queen alter-ego named Brooklyn. She is "fabulous, classy and says it like it is," said Banks, adding that she makes him feel extremely confident. However, there is a twist in the story. Banks decided to let go of his alter-ego and perform as himself in public. Check out the video below.

"I could have easily done The Voice as Brooklyn. But being accepted for who I am… is far more important than being accepted for Brooklyn," Banks told the judges. He chose to sing “Summer Time Sadness” by Lana Del Rey and got the first nod of approval by George.

"I'm going to have to make you behave I think. I have to say, so far, you're the feistiest contestant I have,” George told him. By the end of “The Voice Australasia” 2017 episode 8, Team Delta is still the strongest with 11 singers; Seal and George both have 9 contestants each, followed by Team Kelly with 8.
