“The Voice” 2016, also known as “The Voice” Season 10, will conclude its Live Playoffs this Wednesday on NBC. The April 13 episode will feature an official announcement of this year’s Top 12. Shalyah Fearing has a very good chance at making it as a finalist based on her stunning performance of “Listen.”

Shalyah Fearing, 16, started “The Voice” Season 10 with a one-chair turn -- from Team Christina. She lost her battle round against Tamar Davis, but Pharrell Williams picked her up. After her Knockouts round with Emily Keener, Pharrell chose Emily. Adam Levine then got her to join his team. She has grown a lot from Day 1. Watch her blind audition video below.

For "The Voice" 2016 live playoffs, Shalyah took on the most popular track from “Dreamgirls” without any hint of fear. The audience went wild and roared with approval. Her performance was the best by far compared to all the numbers from the teams of Adam and Pharrell. (Read: Teams of Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton performed on April 11.)

From Christina, Shalyah learned to fine-tune her growl. From Pharrell, the teenager learned to embellish her performance. From Adam, Shalyah said she learned that nobody’s perfect, and she could always push for improvement. She truly came out better, and how! Watch her performance of “Listen” below. Based on the two nights of playoffs, Team Christina appears to be the strongest. She has more concert-ready singers and charismatic personalities in her team. Meanwhile, Team Adam has Shalyah and other remarkable contenders who have a really good chance at being a part of “The Voice” 2016 Top 12.

“The Voice” 2016 Top 12 Predictions

Each coach had five members in their team after the Knockouts. However, they were asked to pick a “comeback contestant” which brought the playoffs performers to a dozen. Half of them will be eliminated on April 13.

The following contestants are likely to make it to “The Voice” Top 12 either by public vote or coach’s choice. (Ed’s note: The author’s opinion is solely her own, shared only for reviewing purposes.)
