NBC’s “The Voice” 2016 live playoffs on Monday had a number of remarkable moments. Alisan Porter, Bryan Bautista and Ryan Quinn may have been the night’s best three. And they are all with Christina Aguilera.

Contestants with Blake Shelton were all good, with Joe Maye (originally from Team Christina) and Paxton Ingram giving some confident performances and showing off much improved versions of themselves. Adam Wakefield sang like a boss. Mary Sarah was a charming country sweetheart with an angelic vintage voice; she also has a great chance at making it to the Top 12.

Still, Alisan, Bryan and Ryan had more stellar numbers. They also showed stronger connections to their songs. All three have also been consistently strong since the blind auditions. It would be surprising if anyone of these three would not make it to “The Voice” Season 10 Top 12.

Two contestants made a comeback on the first night of the live playoffs. Aguilera chose Nick Hagelin (originally with Pharrell Williams), while Shelton chose Justin Whisnant, who lost to Mary Sarah during “The Voice” 2016 Battle Rounds.

To get public votes, Nick Hagelin delivered a soothing rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay.” Justin Whisnant performed "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)" by Travis Tritt and proved he deserved another shot to be on stage.

On Tuesday night, contestants with Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine are taking the stage. It remains to be seen whether Team Christina is really the strongest this season. "The Voice" 2016 Top 12 will be revealed on Wednesday on NBC. Watch more "The Voice" videos on the show's YouTube channel.
