Vodafone Australia posted the Nov. 20, 2014 Software Update Weekly Wrap, which included new software versions for Blackberry, Samsung and Sony. It also included software update statuses of Android Jelly Bean and Android KitKat for other models.

Vodafone Australia announced four devices receiving latest software update on the Nov. 20, 2014 Software Update Weekly Wrap. Both Blackberry Z10 and Z30 are now upgradable to software version 10.2.1.3062, while Sony Xperia Z2 is receiving the official Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Blackberry OS version 10.2.1 includes several changes on the Blackberry Hub, phone experience, SMS and Email Groups, lock screen notifications and Quick Settings, while Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Xperia Home UI from Sony Mobile brings the Remote Play for Sony PlayStation 4, DSEE HX and Hi-Resolution audio engines and Ultra STAMINA mode. Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is receiving a maintenance release of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS which could include bug fixes and optimisations.

Android 4.4 KitKat for Galaxy S5 has been scheduled for testing while an unknown firmware is expected to be tested soon for Galaxy Tab 4. Unfortunately, Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Vodafone Smart 4 Tab failed in testing phase and will be referred to vendor for investigation.

Software Update Statuses

Vodafone also included the statuses of software updates for other devices. Android 4.4.4 KitKat for HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Cat 4 S-Beam Maintenance Release are now in testing phase while testing of Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Samsung Galaxy S4 is now complete but being investigated by Samsung due to issues with firmware Over-the-Air update.

Other statuses noted are Android 4.4 KitKat for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3 waiting for software testing from Samsung, Android 4.4.X KitKat for Vodafone Smart 4 Mini waiting for software testing and Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Sony Xperia Z3 scheduled for testing with software expected by late November. Huawei G6 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean failed on testing phase and Vodafone is waiting for new software from the maker.
