VMAs 2013 Miley Cyrus Raunchy Performance: Paula Patton Not Upset with Miley Cyrus Twerking at Husband Robin Thicke? [PHOTOS]

Miley Cyrus created controversy on Sunday night, thanks to her raunchy performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs with "Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke. Initial reports claimed that Mr Thicke's wife, Paula Patton "went ballistic" with the performance, but now TMZ reports that the "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" actress was not upset with Miley Cyrus twerking at her husband.

It appears that Paula Patton, 37, somehow enjoyed the performance despite the negative feedbacks from the viewers. The 20-year-old "Hannah Montana" star, who flashed some skin with her nude-colored latex bra and underwear, was behaving really badly during the VMAs performance as she bumped, grabbed, gyrated and twerked at the 36-year-old "Blurred Lines" singer.

Robin Thick performed his hit single "Blurred Lines" on-stage in a Beetlejuice-inspired outfit while Ms Cyrus foam-fingered his crotch, twerked around and even fake smooched his neck. Anonymous insiders revealed that Paula Patton was aware of the rather R-rated performance after having a quick peek from the numerous rehearsals conducted.

An anonymous "Life & Style" source shared: "You could tell they were making a united front. She rolled her eyes when people asked about the performance." The source further added that Paula Patton "was slightly annoyed, but not jealous."

The social media sites are currently filled with users expressing their shock, disgust, disbelief with Miley Cyrus' behavior during the 2013 MTV VMAs performance. However, fiancé Liam Hemsworth remains tight-lipped about what happened at the awards show.

On August 8, the couple appeared together in Los Angeles, California for the premiere of Liam's latest film titled "Paranoia" in the middle of break-up speculations.

Miley Cyrus looked happy as she posed with Liam Hemsworth on the red carpet but an anonymous tipster divulged to Us Weekly that the pair was actually cold to each other throughout the premiere night. The source stated: "Miley and Liam acted like they didn't even know each other the entire night. She was wearing her ring but they acted as if they were strangers."
