Just right after New Year's day, professional audio equipment manufacturer Behringer's YouTube channel published a video called "Meytal - Everybody Hates You Now." It shows footage of drummer Meytal Cohen's first live performance with her band, which was held at Whiskey A Go Go nightclub in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California.

Meytal Cohen of Israeli descent started out 5 years ago as a drummer uploading clips of herself performing a variety of songs which belong to the rock and metal genres. Her YouTube channel has then been filled with covers of bands like Metallica, Slipknot, Dream Theater, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and many others. After releasing her very own drum instructional kit called Maximum Meytal in 2013, she has also managed to release her first original album with the help of Kickstarter, having been successfully funded by August of the same year.

This video starts with Cohen saying a few words and tweaking her equipment. "My name is already up there," she says. "We're starting sound check in a couple of minutes, and I'm super excited about it." She then performs the song "Everyone Hates You Now" with her band members, which include Eric Emery of Concordia on vocal duties.

Behringer published "Meytal - Everybody Hates You Now" on Jan. 2, 2015. Meytal Cohen's own YouTube channel has over 700,000 subscribers and well over 75 million video views. Watch the video here:
