'In the Way' guy is not "ridiculously photogenic" or "unimpressed." But he is the latest star in the funny viral memes circulating the social media sites via Reddit today. Thanks to him, photobombing reaches a whole new level. Have you seen him yet on Facebook, Twitter?

If you're a Redditor, you were probably one of the first to social media users to see In the Way Guy's rise to social media fame. This photo was shared on Reddit and it quickly went spinning around the funny viral meme path - into your computer or phone.

Redditor SpnkyHappy has received over two thousand upvotes for her fiancé's funny proposal photo taken at Walt Disney World. It would have not become a funny viral photo had it not been for a guy who walked in just when the shutter went off. On Reddit, SpnkyHappy captioned the photo: "Tried to get a photo of our proposal...nailed it!"

The romantic pair is visibly (or half-visibly) happy as he pops the question. In the Way guy decides to beat the camera shutter, and the rest is a social media history.

The photo is meant to be sweet, romantic, and free of photobombers. But In The Way guy, well, he got in the way. The guy's photo has since been edited to appear in numerous classic and pop images. He has also been seen in the recent Lindo Wing photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton with their new baby. So much for a perfect camera moment.

The funny picture drew some funny comments from Redditors and other social media sites.

"Props to the dude for recognizing he was in the shot and trying to duck out, whilst making himself as awkward looking as possible," says @SirGentleman.

Even worse, the photo was photobombed by a Mckayla Maroney doppelganger, who is looking unimpressed with SpnkyHappy.
