Big bosses of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) seem to be butting heads on what matchups to put out in the upcoming Wrestlemania 31 next year. Triple H has been adamant of booking the match with recently signed talent and WCW legend Sting who he tangled with during the Survivor Series. It appears that the royal family is not in agreement as Vince McMahon has another plan in place: he wants the sort-of retirement match between Sting and Taker.

Of course all of these depends upon the health of the formerly undefeated fighter of Wrestlemania.Even so, reports from the Inquisitor are coming out that Triple H is arranging for a triple-threat match between Brock "Beast Incarnate" Lesnar, Roman Reigns who is supposedly scheduled to win Royal Rumble in January and the Undertaker, in what would be his grudge match against the reigning world heavyweight champion.

Still, a lot depends on the way Royal Rumble shapes up as the McMahon family is still reluctant to build up Reigns as the next baby face of the wrestling world. Due to Reigns perceived lack of mass appeal, the WWE is considering altering the supposed storyline of Reigns getting the title shot by winning Royal Rumble and then winning over Lesnar in a fairy tale ending for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's cousin.

The hesitation of the company is evident in the way it is suddenly building up long gestating talents such as Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose as other alternatives for the top post given that Lesnar has shown hints of not continuing his commitment with the company. All indications from his camp say that Lesnar is one his way to go back to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) stable once his contract is up, which coincides with the pay-per-view event Wrestlemania 31.

Nevertheless, all plans for the main event in the summer of 2015 hinges upon the direction the Royal Rumble takes. If triple H would get his way, he would have the best match against Sting and throw up Taker into the triple-threat match but if fans would be followed, the Sting-Undertaker match would be the best product out there.
