A video of Senator Pat Roberts' cellphone singing to the tune of "Let it Go" from "Frozen" has gone viral on the internet. The Senate Finance Committee was meeting to discuss Congress and U.S. Tariff Policy. The video, posted on April 16, shows how the ringing interrupted Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, who was speaking at the time.

As of this writing, 669,484 have already viewed the video. Over 3,000 users "liked" it and 204 gave it the thumbs down. The YouTube video has already drawn over 300 comments. (Watch the video below.)

“Just let it go,” said the Kansas Republican, according to EOnline.com, as he silenced his phone. He then apologized to the shocked members of the committee, some of whom could not contain their laughter. Roberts later tweeted about what happened, making light about the incident but not before taking a dig at the Obama administration.

According to Today.com, his communications director Sarah Little said that the senator's grandchildren inspired the ringtone choice. Little also added that Roberts "balanced" the ringtone choice with Johnny Cash’s "I Walk the Line."

“Frozen,” released in 2013, is the highest-grossing animated film of all time. The song “Let It Go,” sung by Idina Menzel, won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2014. (Watch the video below.)

YouTube user Monkey D Luffy wrote that the senator must have ice running through his veins to come up with a pun like that under pressure. Another user JHUlaxfan76 replied that the "cold never bothered him anyway." Most of the users were surprised that the song was still this popular. BurrBurr1001 commented asking how was it that this was still "relevant."

A user, gwkowe, commented that the Oscar winning song would not go away for another decade "or two." The user also added that the song had reached "Barbie doll status" meaning it is everywhere and has "become one with the people."

YouTube users excaliber2010 felt that the 79-year-old should change his ringtone. The user also suggested that he should get "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC as his ringtone. Other comments ranged from "poor man" to "he's never going to live this down."
