The video of Jamie Lynn Spears breaking up a fight with a knife has emerged online. The younger sister of Britney Spears was reported to have stopped a brawl inside a sandwich eatery where she and a friend were eating in December.

The reports said the 23-year-old mother-of-one were dining with a female friend inside the Pita Pit in Hammond, Louisiana when they were unwittingly involved in a fight among unknown guys. When Jamie’s friend was knocked over during the clash, Jamie looked for the nearest weapon to ensure their safety.

TMZ now has the shop footage of the incident, in which Jamie can be seen brandishing a 7-inch blade when the brawling group proved to be too unruly for everyone’s safety. The fight actually started in a nearby table, and became uncontrollable within a few seconds.

According to the gossip Web site, Jamie acted a hero by pulling her friend out of the fracas. When the guys wouldn’t stop, she quickly looked for something to stop them, which she found behind the counter. She grabbed a knife and waved it to the disruptive group.

She wasn’t able to cut someone’s skin with the knife, though, as the clerk blocked her as she was about to confront the boys. She put the blade down after yelling at them while wielding it at them. Nevertheless, a former Nickelodeon star holding a sharp bread knife was apparently threatening enough to break up the fight.

Jamie, who is a mum to 6-year-old Maddie Briann Aldridge, remains mum about her sandwich shop heroism. Her last Twitter post is about a “very healthy” dinner she and her daughter ate on Tuesday. She released her debut country music album “The Journey” in May, and is currently playing on different shows around the country.
