Verizon recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab E without any hype at all. The Korean tech giant had first unveiled the tablet this June.

Now, a couple of months after it was first introduced to the public, the Galaxy Tab E has finally made its way to the tech market. Tech Times even reported the device is now available in Asian markets such as India and Taiwan. Unfortunately, there has been no news about when the device is going to be available in Western countries -- until now.

Verizon Wireless has just officially added the device to its products, as can be seen on the carrier’s official website. What made this particular launch interesting is that Verizon opted for a fuss-less launch. The public only became aware of the Galaxy Tab E’s availability when online news outlets came out with reports about the release.

Samsung's latest tablet device features a 9.6-inch TFT touch screen with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution at 157 ppi. It runs on a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and reportedly features 1.5 GB of RAM.

The device also has a 5 MP primary camera on its back, as well as a 2 MP camera on its front. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t have a flash, which means users won’t be able to take high quality photos in low light conditions.

The Verizon Wireless website also states the Galaxy Tab E will have a huge 7,300 mAh battery. This kind of juice can make the device run for up to 21 hours, and up to 45 hours when placed on standby. Plus, it also has an Ultra Power Saving Mode that will make the unit's battery last even longer when only essential apps are activated.
