It looks like the show’s characters are up to a lot of things as recently revealed spoilers for “The Vampire Diaries,” titled “Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path To Hell.”

The upcoming episode of “The Vampire Diaries” is directed by Paul Wesley. Caroline Forbes (Candice King) will take drastic measures to make sure that nothing will get in the way of her family’s safety when her children become the focus of the Siren’s (Nathalie Kelley) latest plan. Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) will pledge to do everything within his power to save the twins while the situation gets heated between Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) and Caroline. This will lead them to some cruel truths about their family’s future.

As for Enzo St. John (Michael Malarkey), he will find himself unable to fight off Sybil’s latest move, writes TV Line. Stefan will go deep into his subconscious and will set off a chain of events that will leave him faced with a big decision.

The set photos for this season 8 episode 6 of “The Vampire Diaries” also reveal that Arcadius will be arriving. Although that name sounds quite mystic and fitting for a vampire, he is going to be addressed by his somewhat cute nickname “Cade.” With Harsh realities, a big decision and more, it looks like this episode packs in a lot of pivotal points in the show.

In addition, no other than Nathalie Kelley herself, who plays Sybil, teased that viewers should expect a lot more evil from her character on episode 6. Sybil will be going after Enzo and he might not be able to resist her latest move.

“The Vampire Diaries” season 8 episode 6 will air on Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. on The CW Channel. It also airs on Fox8 in Australia.
