“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 will have the supernatural creatures of Mystic Falls fighting off the new threats of the Heretics and Ripper Lily Salvatore (Annie Wersching). “The Vampire Diaries” character Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will be the one caught in the middle of the escalating conflict between his vampire friends and Lily (the woman who turned him into a vampire back in 1903) and her family of vampire-witch hybrids-- the Heretics.

In CW Network’s video interview, TVD actor Michael Malarkey teased that Enzo’s loyalties are going to be put to the test in the new season. A sneak peek video of “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premiere episode has shown Lily telling Enzo that she and the Heretics want nothing from him but to believe that he is on their side while Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) wants Enzo to pick a side.

The 32-year-old British-American actor shared that Enzo will be figuring out where his loyalties lie. The premiere episode’s synopsis in a Dread Central report teased that Enzo will struggle in finding a place in Lily’s new and free life in Mystic Falls with her Heretics family, after staying for so long in the 1903 prison world of the Gemini Coven.

Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) will be protecting Mystic Falls from his Ripper mother and the vampire-witch hybrids, who wasted no time in wreaking havoc since their release from the prison world.

Will Enzo join Stefan, Caroline and Matt (Zach Roerig) in putting a stop to the evil plans of Lily and the Heretics or will he pick Lily’s side and also cause trouble in Mystic Falls?

Malarkey has also teased in an interview with E! News while attending the iHeartRadio Music festival that Enzo will have a lot of good and juicier stuff in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7. Enzo’s juicier stuff in the CW TVseries’ new season will include a new love interest and a couple of amazing fight scenes.

“We literally ramped it up and juiced it up, so I am pumped. It will be so good,” Malarkey told E! News. “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premiere episode titled “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take” will air on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 8/7c on the CW Network.
